Well summer is over. The kids are back in school so now it is time for the "adults" to go back to school. Our school season starts out with the familar show and tell on the subject of "What I did this summer." Bring in 5 images showcasing your photography activities this summer and be ready to answer questions related to the images.
We will also have a tribute to Steve Dunn on his passing away. This was a great loss to the club as Steve was an anchor to the functioning and ongoing direction of the CACC.
There will also be a discussion on several topics that will affect our schedule for the second half of our year.
There are several interesting program topics for this half of the year amoung others is a program on astro photography presented by Mike Taylor. Also a program on "Photography as a spiritual experience" given by Ron Rosenstock.
Their will be other programs providing help to improve composition skills and telling stories through photographs.
We are looking forward to an exciting year. So be sure to join us starting Sept. 3rd. We are still located at Viles Arbotetum 153 Hospital Street Augusta. The doors open by 6:30 for a social time with the meeting beginning at 7 pm.
I hope to see you there.
